Network technician

Responsibilities include: Repairing portable computers – able to trouble shoot issues, identify problem and order replacement parts Will need to communicate with customer and management team on a regular basis Installs, tests, repairs, audits, and maintains structured cabling systems Design and install new cabling infrastructures Perform site surveys to determine data cabling requirements, and prepare proposals for clients based on findings Coordinate and multi-task on numerous projects simultaneously Perform to standards and best practices to deliver consistent results Able to read and understand basic wiring/architectural diagrams Prepare and file site surveys and drawings Converse with site personnel to obtain installation information Knowledge of design and creativity Able to work from ladders, lifts, or scaffolding as required Ability to use power tools and electronic test equipment Responsible for maintain cabling tool kits Must be able to rent a vehicle while traveling
