To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America want to live up to their mission. One way in which they are doing this is by working closely with technology companies around the nation to provide computer learning centers where children that otherwise might not have the opportunity, get a chance to be exposed and learn today's computer related skills that will be necessary for their success in life.
Installing a computer-learning center is no easy task. Computers must be chosen, software must be picked to increase the knowledge of the children; Internet service needs to be provided so that they can research topics of interest and expand their minds, and all the computers must be able to share these services over a network infrastructure.
Trilogy Networks, Inc. was chosen to help prepare each of these Boys & Girls Clubs by obtaining Internet services for each of the clubs, often in remote areas where service options are severely limited, and by installing the required network cabling that ties it all together. Trilogy Networks is dedicated to this project and has obtained services for all of the clubs scheduled so far. Many times, this has included installing satellite solutions to provide Internet connectivity for remote and disadvantaged areas.
Trilogy Networks is also a licensed data-cabling contractor and has provided the necessary network cabling for over 200 sites in the last half of 2001, making the final installation of the technology centers possible.
