Satellite Connectivity Solution Steps after Original Install

- Optistreams extends connectivity into lab and leaves proper termination equipment in cabinet
- Satellite Modem
- Optistreams Configures the Opti-server to a standard:
- Server should have Netmeeting configured and activated on Optiserver
- Outgoing Connection Settings:
- Static Gateway Address: Automatically populated from Satellite modem
- Internal Network Settings:
- Internal NIC IP (Static): 192.168.0.1
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
- DNS Entries: 192.168.0.1
- Make sure the Optistreams representative test at least one lab system for internet access before leaving.
- The site may need to contact Trilogy Networks for help reconfiguring their printer:
- IP Address: 192.168.0.200
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
- Using the IP info above please refer to the printer install document.
- Trilogy Networks will continue to assist site with the re-configuration of all lab systems to send print jobs to the new printer settings.
- If Site encounters any issues with there Internet connection:
- They may first contact Trilogy Networks Technical Support (605-232-0900)
- If Trilogy Networks diagnoses the problem to be with the Optistreams equipment Trilogy Networks will redirect the call to Optistream Technical Support (866-438-6784 ext. 74) or (www.optistreams.com)
