System Image Process
- Go to the system that needs the image loaded on it. Turn the system on.
- Open the CD tray, and put disc #1 (see label on CD) into the system. Note: You must have the CD in the system before windows starts; if not, then you must restart the system with the CD still inside the system.
- Allow time for the system to boot from the CD. A menu will appear with the following options:
- Now hit the Enter key.
- After the 1st CD successfully loads, a new menu will
pop up:

- Eject CD #1, remove CD #1, and insert CD #2 into the system.
- Allow the CD-ROM several seconds to boot from CD #2.
- After allowing time for the CD to boot up, the OK is defaulted. Now hit the Enter key. CD #2 takes approximately 6 minutes to load.
- Continue this process for all CD's in the load.
- After the last CD has been successfully loaded, the system will reboot (temporarily shutting down and restarting) and will then load Windows. This is the normal procedure. It will automatically detect the new hardware and will configure accordingly.
- After detecting the new hardware, another menu will appear.
- The computer will restart, and Windows will reload again.
- Then a System Configuration will appear.
- At this menu, you will need to select the state you are located in, your site number (example 0123), the station number (usually 1-20), and the time zone you are located in.
- After entering in the correct information, you can either use your mouse and click the Continue button, or tab over to the Continue button and hit the Enter key.
- A warning messages then pops up. It states:
- After reading this message, hit the Enter key, or use your mouse and click the OK button.
- After selecting OK, the system will shutdown automatically. The system will be imaged like the rest of the systems in your lab.
Caution:It is important that only the keys specified are hit during this setup. Non-specified keystrokes will cancel the setup.
While at this menu, "1.Start System Load" is automatically selected.
The image will run automatically after that. The first CD load will take approximately 10 minutes. It is important that this load runs uninterrupted.
At this menu YES is defaulted (automatically selected).
